Ideal Cheese was started over 65 years ago as a butter and egg company in New York City.

It has since evolved into a gourmet cheese and specialty products store, which has a retail shop in midtown on the east side of Manhattan, provides wholesale cheese to restaurants, country clubs, private clubs and hotels all over the U.S. and ships via FedEx to retail customers throughout the United States.

We have maintained our "small - mom and pop" image while keeping up with today's technology.

Our cheese selection consists of over 250 cheeses from 17 countries.
