Available only December -March this is truly a magnificent cheese. Cheese made from cows milk fed on an Autumn diet of sweet hay. Soft runny interior enclosed in orange/pink rind and then wrapped in a band of spruce bark from the farmers own trees.
Vacherin Mont d'Or is made in the Jura Valley on both the French and Swiss side. Our's is imported from the Swiss side.
